Pair of gilt ormolu-mounted sevres-style green-ground porcelain vases and cover, the body is further embellished with tooled gilt foliate running pattern and painted in miniatures painted in miniatures with scenes after paintings of François Boucher, one represents the painting "The Interrupted Sleep, 1750" and the other miniature depicts the autumn painting one of the-four-seasons paintings circa 1755", the reverse is painted with natural landscapes, all within a richly gilt scrollwork cartouche and musical trophy, the shoulder flanked by upright gilt-ormolu acanthus-scroll handles suspending rings, with waisted neck form enriched with gilt foliate pattern and musical trophy, encircled at bottom with two ormolu laurel wreaths, surmounted with pierced ormolu guilloche acanthus frieze under a domed lids ornamented with gilt scrollwork and musical trophy as well, and terminates with large engraved pinecone finial, raised on an ornamented conforming socle and square shaped base with foliate cartouche and four foliate feet.
